Meet Dave and Tracy Wilcox
Dave and Tracy Wilcox started playing pickleball in the summer of 2017. They immediately fell in love with the sport due to their competitive natures, their desire to be athletic, and their love of being with people.
Prior to pickleball, they each coached youth sports at the recreational and club level for more than 20 years. In the fall of 2020, they became certified to coach pickleball. They are now the pickleball teaching pros for the City of Santa Barbara. They teach beginners, intermediate, advanced, and tournament players.
Dave and Tracy are both IPTPA Certified Pickleball Instructors for the Santa Barbara and Goleta areas.
In the past 3 years, they have taught more than 1000 people to play pickleball and to further develop their skills. They are TOTALLY in love with this sport, and love helping others catch the fever! They both continue to improve their own games by taking lessons and participating in clinics. They encourage others to keep taking lessons to improve their game.
Dave and Tracy teach private lessons, semi-private lessons, as well as large clinics. They have also run several 2-3 days camps locally, in the United States, and even internationally. They have also hosted both small and very large tournaments! They are competitive tournament players and play in several local, state and national tournaments.
